I have built a network of over 2000 contacts with people in the
mortgage industry over the years. Providing mortgage industry news from my website, and helping
answer subscriber questions has made it possible for me to meet mortgage related people beyond the secondary marketing community that has
served as my account base. (see “Purpose of MortgageNEwsClips”)
Both B of A (NationsBank) and WaMu were in the startup phase of their
mortgage securities business when I joined their organizations. I was hired because my strong
relationships in the industry helped their businesses to become established within 1-2 years.
I have experience in the areas of pipeline hedging, servicing hedging, and whole loan acquisitions, with over $300 billion
transactions in my career.
My desire is to work with an organization and build an operation to acquire or distribute financial assets.
Asset acquisition: includes FHA and agency whole loans, reverse
mortgages, non conforming whole loans, specified pools, distressed assets, and other loan types as liquidity returns to the
market. Acquisition channels include a wholesale, correspondent, or trade desk
environment.
Asset disposition: I can provide a firm more liquidity sources
by directly placing their assets with private investors.
